I’m an introvert enneagram 2 living in California and happily married to an amazing man. I love learning, reading, working out and cooking while listening to a good podcast or audio book, and exploring nature and traveling with my husband.

My nutrition journey began as a teenager when an autoimmune condition led me to try various approaches to feel better, but without the right guidance, I jumped from diet to diet, supplement to supplement and still did not feel better. Combining my passion for learning, love of science and desire to improve my health & nutrition, I eventually became a registered dietitian, earning a master’s in Public Health Nutrition & Dietetics in 2015.

After nearly a decade of helping hundreds of individuals navigate their nutrition, I realized that knowing what to do wasn’t the main struggle—most people needed help with the how. How to start. How to stay consistent. How to not give up and follow through. How to make health and nutrition decisions they are proud of. That’s what led me to get certified in mindset and behavior change coaching, and to create Andrea Lindsay Nutrition (ALN)—to help clients who have tried “all the things” in an effort to lose weight, finally move past the confusion and create real, lasting changes through mindset and behavior change science.

What sets me apart as a dietitian and nutrition coach is that my approach focuses on finding out your personal values around food and then create a clear, doable plan to bridge the gap between how you’re eating now and the nutrition and health goals you want to achieve.
