I’m Andrea — MPH, RDN, HMCC1
I’m a registered dietitian, certified mindset and behavior change coach, wifey to a wonderful man + enneagram 2w3 + adventurous introvert and lover of dark chocolate.
I get it. I’ve been where you are. Like most of my clients, I also struggled with all-or-nothing thinking, self-sabotage and not being able to stick with a plan for my long-term health goals. I tried the quick fixes, listened to unqualified advice and jumped from diet to diet until I realized that I needed a lasting, evidence-based approach.
My own struggles and finally finding real answers inspired me to get an MPH in nutrition and dietetics. Later, I also got certified in mindset and behavior change coaching to further help my clients. I was determined to cut through the confusion and help others find clarity and freedom from diet culture, food rules, and misinformation.

Your onboarding process is a pretty thorough one, to get to know you, and to set the stage for what YOU want to do in those times when you’re not feeling motivated, and when you’re experiencing setbacks ('cause who doesn’t, right?!). We’ll look at your environment, your eating/movement/exercise/work/social support, to help you be better prepared for success.
In essence, this is there for you to get really clear on how you want the next 12-weeks, and future you, to be.
We don’t wait for life to happen to us. We think about it and start developing a plan from the very beginning.

You send updates once a week via a check-in form, and I’ll respond with personalized feedback, strategy, and support via voice notes, text, or video recording— your pick.

You’ll never get canned responses or vague advice. You’ll get specific, helpful guidance from a coach who understands your story. I’ll guide you, encourage you, and support you—without judgment.
Using Practice Better (app or desktop) as the portal for our communications and check-ins, you will have 24 hour/day access to me, with responses by me between 8-5pm pacific time, on business days, to get all the support you need on your journey.

We kick things off by learning about your current habits, mindset, and lifestyle patterns. You’ll track with simple tools, reflect on where you’re at, and start uncovering the thought traps (like guilt or all-or-nothing thinking) that have been holding you back.

You’ll get clear on what balanced meals actually look like—starting with protein, fiber, fats, and carbs. We’ll focus on growing your skills that really move the needle—so you stop overthinking food choices and feel more in control, even during takeout nights or busy weeks.

This is where we take the skills you’ve learned to a deeper level. You’ll build your own flexible nutrition plan, learn how to structure your meals and adjust for things like vacations, stress or last-minute meals, and build self-trust instead of starting over after every time something goes “wrong”.

We’ll get clear on how habits work, and the mindset needed to make them stick. We’ll find your core 2–3 daily habits (like grocery routines, meal planning, movement, hydration or sleep) that work best in your current season of life, and teach you how to stay consistent—without needing to be perfect. This is about progress you can actually maintain.

I don’t promise you quick results. Fat loss requires long-term behavior changes, typically working on them for at least 6 months, if not years... And that’s why this program is focused on first, setting the foundations that can help you focus on fat loss in the future, so that you don’t have to do it ever again.
By the end of this program, you’ll create your own go-to toolbox and routines, reflect on how far you’ve come, and build confidence that you are ready to keep building off of these foundations, and then start working on your long-term fat loss goals. This is where it all clicks.

Nutrition Foundations (NF) is a 12-week 1:1 online nutrition coaching program based on the science of behavior change. NF is designed specifically for those who want to stop spinning in circles and who want to gain awareness of the mindset traps and lifestyle habits that have kept them from achieving the weight loss, energy, and overall improved well-being they so much want. This program helps you get out of “knowing what to do and not doing it” or “being so confused about what actually does work” to confidently and joyfully doing the routines and habits that help you lose the weight and keep it off.

Nutrition Foundations is for the individual who wants to set strong foundations for long-term weight loss. You either have tried many superficial diet-culture programs and have lost the weight, but re-gained it back, or you have been spinning in circles trying the newest diet that shows up on your feed, or you have started strong but “fell off the wagon” when life got difficult.
You’ve realized that weight loss requires more than just a calorie deficit, and you’re ready for the deeper work it requires: increasing your self-efficacy & troubleshooting challenges, planning for obstacles ahead of time, taking a proactive approach, finding deeper reasons for weight loss than to “look good in a swimsuit”, and looking at your lifestyle to focus on the habits + behaviors that really do improve your well-being in the longer run.

Negatory. This is a 1:1 virtual coaching program between just you and I .
There will be 2 webinar calls you will have access to join live or to replay, but that’s the closest to a community aspect that Nutrition Foundations will have.

No, hardpass! Standardized meal plans are not a part of Nutrition Foundations (NF), and neither are macros. You absolutely will have a chance to discuss macro goals with your coach, if you want, but it’s not required that you track macros if you don’t want, because the focus of NF is to learn the foundational habits, mindset and behaviors that promote long-term fat loss, as well as taking a proactive approach and develop a plan that prepares you for obstacles, to set you up for successful long-term fat loss.

Yes! You and I begin coaching the week of October 20th and depending on if you want a holiday break or not, the latest the program would end by would be on the week of January 20th, 2026.
Please note that we will have no check-ins on the week of December 28th - January 3rd for a much deserved break.

The same day of every month, for 3 months. Your first payment will be drawn after you apply and get accepted to the program. Then monthly after that.

Nutrition Foundations is a 12-week coaching program. We will take the last week of the year off, and you have the option of taking the second to last week of the year off as well. Therefore, your last day of coaching will depend on you taking that extra week off or not. But regardless, you will get a total of 12 weeks, and the last week the program would go is the week of January 20th, 2026.

The check-ins happen virtually on a weekly basis on a day that you decide on at the beginning of coaching.
Each week I will send you an updated check-in form with questions to help you reflect on the previous week. You’ll submit your answers on the day of your check-in, and I will respond to you with feedback and support via video recordings, voice notes or email text (you pick!).

Negatory. Nutrition Foundations is a nutrition and behavior change coaching program. We will absolutely discuss exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle but giving you workouts is outside of my scope.

YES! We encourage clients who want deep, lasting behavior changes to sign up for the 6-month coaching program after finishing with Nutrition Foundations. Please note that the 6-month coaching program offer is being developed at the moment and therefore will not be open to the public until around February 2026.

Nutrition Foundations does not guarantee how much weight you will lose. Every client is different and the purpose of Nutrition Foundations is to set the lifestyle habits that will lead to weight loss in the longer run.
